Asos Full Bust Bikinis

Here we go with another full bust bikini find and this time it's at an actual price I can afford. Fuller busted bikinis (and bras for that matter) always wind up costing a whole lot more than their regular counterparts since they have to do a whole lot more. I happened upon a wide selection of DD-F Bikinis at Asos and my jaw dropped at how cute and affordable they are.

Body Love

I am exercising and dieting this summer, but it's not just to lose weight and be thin. It's more to encourage good healthy habits in myself. I mean sure, fitting into new clothes and showing off a nice bathing suit body is sweet, but appreciating myself as I am and will be is the the best thing I can do.

Because body confidence is what is really important. And all the numbers in between don't mean a thing.  Go on an exercising journey to be healthy human being first and foremost. Love yourself throughout and throw away all the negative thoughts you're thinking about yourself and think positively into the future.

Bathing Suits

Let me just tell you that finding a bathing suit (let alone a bra) is a very difficult matter. I have big boobs and you know what they just don't stay or fit in regular bikinis. I mean, please tell me where they're supposed to fit in Triangle bikini tops?

Kate Upton doesn't even fit in the triangle top.

I’ve searched for years and It’s really hard to find an underwire bikini top. I've checked Victoria’s Secret’s Swimwear and you know what most of the bathing suits have 3/4 of padding that add an entire 2 cup sizes. I don’t need that and really no one should have to try to alter their body that much.

 Last year I found a store in the Annapolis Mall, Swim N Sport,  that have swimsuits that range from D, DD, to E. There’s tops with underwire support, straps that do their job, and they look pretty instead of matronly.

Skye is a great brand and has just the perfect underwire support. I normally stay away from black since tan is not apart of my vocabulary.

This is the top I got last year and I have to say BodyGlove is my all time favorite swimwear brand. They know what they are doing.

Bamboo Swimwear Twist Top

This twist top is beautiful and is a definite consideration on this years wish list.

And once you have one good top that fits and looks just right, you can pair them with whatever cool bottoms you find at another store. I found some great bird ones that matched my blue top last year.

Sports Bra

Another issue taken from bustygirlcomics is the fact that Sports Bras are hard to come by. It's hard to find sports bras that give support when you're running or jumping. A busty girl has pretty much only two options.

1. Wear two bras for extra support.

2. Get a really good fitting bra.

For the two bra rule, pair an underwire bra with a cute elastic bra on top. For some reason it works and it's the much more stylish option.

The best fitting sports bra I've ever come across is the Enell Sports Bra. It's got hooks in the front and gives the best support. As in zero movement support. They come in pink and green as well.

Busty Blouses

I happened upon this amazing site called Busty Girl Comics the other day on tumblr. I think I've been waiting for some sort social commentary on being a busty girl for a long time and hilarious comics are certainly the way to go. The artist, Rampaige, focuses on all the stuff you kind of only whine about to your mom like why most stores don't sell anything cute in sizes D+ or at all.

But I found the comic above and thought, my goodness, this is the breast (I know, I can't help it, I like puns.) With me and my other busty comrades, the button down shirts are the worst. The buttons along the breasts just seem to create this weird gap that alerts everyones eyes to the bursting boobs. Or as Clinton Kelly puts it in his book, Oh No She Didn't, "It's distracting when the girls are struggling to bust out like two bear cubs wrestling in a bag." That being said, it makes finding a good button down hard to come by in the working world.

Here's some tips on how to get yourself into a top that works for you.

1. Try to avoid shiny clingy fabric, not only will you look cheap, but you are totally drawing more attention than necessary to your boobs. Go for cotton.
2. You can sew an extra button or a hook between the two button gap. This may look weird.
3. Your best bet is to go a size up and tailor it down? Don't have a tailor learn how to sew, or call my Grandma she's really good. Actually, she's mine.
